The idea of ‘Power Management’ is the most vital aspect of any energy system. Adequate Power Management will take into account the relevant energy flow to and from with the power system. It may incorporate inverters, converters, charge controllers and regulators, switches, breakers, meters, and other accessories. For standard residential Grid-Tied applications, Power Management will centre around Inverters, which conduct power transformation from DC to AC and synchronisation with utility power. Suitable safety devices such as a rapid shutdown mechanism, breakers and fuses will be used as required for protection or to satisfy codes requirements. There are also many accessories available for monitoring, data collection and communication.
The smart monitoring and allocation of power resources is critical for independent power supply systems such as is used in Off-Grid applications. The Power Management Unit is the brain of your power supply system, and will be the interface between your Power Sources, and your Power Applications (i.e. power demanding equipment (loads), or energy storage such as a battery bank). Contact us to discuss what you would like to achieve from your power system. We can supply Power Management solutions for most applications.
